Compact Flash Data Recovery

If you use a digital camera to take photos, its just a matter of time before you experience the dreaded "card not formatted", "card not found", or other error message. If that is your reason for visiting my website you've come to the right place. San Diego Photos and Prints offers compact flash data recovery for amateur and professional photographers. Our compact flash recovery process also works on all other styles of digital camera flash media and USB flash memory.
First some free advice . . . . !
Stop trying to read the pictures on your corrupted compact flash card. Each time you do, you increase the likelyhood that your pictures will become permanently unrecoverable. Don't format the card or attempt to take more pictures. Formatting the card may permanently erase your pictures. Taking more pictures may result in the new pictures over-writing the old pictures, making them impossible to recover.
Flash memory can become corrupted or damaged in a variety of ways, resulting in error messages like, "card not formatted", "card not found", "card error", etc. This type of message usually indicates your card has become corrupted and you will need professional assistance to access and recover your photographs.
Instinctively, when faced with a corrupted memory card, most of us will try again and again to read the card by placing it in several card readers, taking it to several photo kiosks, or trying "free" software recovery programs you can find on the internet. Each of these attempts can further damage the image files resulting in a failed recovery.
In my experience, 85% of flash memory cards can be recovered if the card hasn't been tampered with previously. As a general rule deleting your photographs or formatting the card does not permanently remove the photographs but can damage the files so that when recovered, parts of the image are missing.
Most failures are software or operator induced. Examples of operator induced failures are:
Accidentally deleting the pictures from your compact flash card
Accidentally formatting the compact flash card
Taking photographs when your camera battery is not fully charged
Ejecting the compact flash card while the camera is still writing to the card
Photographs that are missing due to these types of actions are usually recoverable.
Compact flash data recovery can be simple or complicated depending on what caused the files to disappear. This is true even when your camera or card reader no longer recognizes the compact flash card. There are many variables that can affect the recovery process. This is why I recommend that you send me your compact flash card for analysis. My analysis to determine if your pictures are still recoverable is free.
I analyze cards the same day they arrive and will then contact you via telephone or email with the results. If I am able to recover your photographs, I will provide you with a website link where you can view the photographs, prior to recovery. Once I receive your go ahead and payment, I will complete the recovery then create a CD or DVD with the recovered pictures and mail it to you, along with your flash memory card.
If I am unable to recover your photographs your only cost will be $6 to cover the cost of return postage and handling. I will be using U.S. Priority Mail with delivery confirmation to ship your compact flash card back to you.
I would be pleased to attempt the recovery for you. Please print this form and include it with your compact flash card, memory stick, micro drive or other flash memory device. My shipping address is on the form.
If I am able to recover your photographs the following charges will apply.
